We are seeking a motivated and creative Marketing Intern to join our team for the summer of 2025. In this role, you will assist with marketing initiatives, social media, promotion, and communications to help raise awareness of our sport and association. You will also have the opportunity to contribute to graphic design projects and collaborate on content creation.
Ideal candidates will have a passion for sports and knowledge of judo is considered an asset. We are committed to increasing diversity in the sport sector, and priority will be given to individuals from underrepresented groups.
Key Responsibilities:
Support marketing campaigns and promotions
Assist with social media content creation and communications
Contribute to graphic design projects
Collaborate with the team to enhance Judo BC’s brand
Qualifications:
Interest in communications, social media & marketing
Passion for sports, with a focus on judo (asset)
This is a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience in marketing within the sports industry.
DETAILS
Marketing Intern: 8 weeks, 35 hours per week, starting July 2, 2025 at $22.40/hour. This position is offered in partnership with Canada Summer Jobs program (CSJ).
To be eligible, applicants must be:
- be between 15 and 30 years of age at the beginning of the employment period*
- be a Canadian citizen, permanent resident, or person to whom refugee protection has been conferred under the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act for the duration of the employment** and
- have a valid Social Insurance Number at the start of employment and be legally entitled to work in Canada in accordance with relevant provincial or territorial legislation and regulations
*The youth must be 15 years of age at the beginning of the employment period. The youth may be more than 30 years of age at the end of the employment period as long as the youth was 30 at the beginning of the employment period.
**International students are not eligible participants. As the objective of the CSJ program is to support youth entering the Canadian labour market, the temporary nature of an international student’s time in Canada does not allow for a long-term connection to the labour market.
