Abby Lloyd heading to the Junior US Open

Abby Lloyd is currently in Lethbridge training with the Alberta Team in preparation for the Junior US Open schedule for July 27 and 28 in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.

Fresh off her gold medal performance in the women’s U17 48kg division and a bronze in the U20 division, Lloyd is looking to reach the podium in preparation for the U17& U20 Panamerican Championships schedule for September 5th to 9th in Cali, Colombia. 

Lloyd, along with Kristen Yawney of Prince George, received an invitation from Judo Canada to join 24 judokas from across Canada for the to the 2012 Panamerican Championships following their performances at the 2012 Nationals.
