Passing of Yoshio Senda
It is with great sadness that we share news that Mr. Yoshio Senda passed away in Lethbridge on Wednesday, September 9,
at about 6:00pm local time. According to family members, he died peacefully surrounded by loved ones after a recurring battle with cancer.
No plans have yet been made for a service but arrangements will be made in the next few days.
For many of us, Mr. Senda was a fixture with Judo Alberta and the Lethbridge Judo Club throughout our entire judo careers.
A true pioneer and advocate of our sport. He will be greatly missed by all within the judo community.
